Freestanding settees are the quickest way to give a large, open dining room booth seating without building anything against a wall. The SB-170 is a two-seater with a softly rounded olive shell that wraps the back and arms, two tan back cushions with three buttons each, and a single burnt-orange seat cushion with a contrast band at the base. It stands on short tapered legs, so it can be placed in facing pairs across a four-top and moved when the layout changes.
Construction. Hardwood and ply frame with sinuous springs or webbing under the seat, HR foam, outer shell upholstered as one piece; back cushions attached so they hold their position under heavy use. Legs in hardwood or metal to sample.
Specifying it. Three colors on one piece means three COM or COL lines per unit; we state each quantity separately. Shell, back and seat can also be specified in one material for a calmer room.
Where it works. Garden and greenhouse restaurants, all-day cafés and casual dining rooms with open floor plates, paired with pedestal tables so knees clear the base.
