The SB-104 is a dense-seating tool: two short facing seats, each 35 in (90 cm) wide, set about 30 in (75 cm) apart for a small table, with upholstered side wings on each end that rise to full back height and enclose the pair.
Construction. Each seat is an independent unit; wings are framed into the seat structure. The top trim runs around the wing edges and along the back in one line.
Specifying it. Along a given wall length, compartments of two-tops usually yield more tables than a continuous banquette with loose tables, especially for breakfast and coffee trade. Use a 24 x 30 in (61 x 76 cm) table on a pedestal base. Wings can be lowered or omitted on the aisle side if sightlines matter more than privacy.
Where it works. Cafes, breakfast and brunch venues, small restaurants and hotel lobby lounges where two-person parties dominate.
