The SB-175 keeps the timber doing most of the work. Ends, back and seat box are solid-looking walnut panels with crisp square edges; the only upholstery is a black leather seat cushion and a loose back cushion in a bold print that sits against the timber back. Swap the print and the room changes, while the frame stays the same. The photographs show the booth as a single wall-side unit, in facing pairs and in back-to-back rows down a dining room, with stone-look tops edged in walnut on black square pedestals.
Construction. Hardwood frame faced in walnut veneer with solid lipping, ply seat box, HR foam seat cushion in leather or COL, back cushion with zipped cover so it can be re-covered or swapped seasonally. Units bolt together for back-to-back rows.
Specifying it. The back cushion is the COM line most likely to change; we state its yardage separately from the seat so a replacement order is simple. Large-scale prints need a centered repeat per cushion, which we mark on the cut plan.
Where it works. Contemporary Chinese and Asian restaurants, tea houses and neighborhood dining rooms with timber and stone interiors.
