The SB-176 shows its best face from the aisle. The outside of the back and both ends are panels of cane webbing in a walnut frame, and the end profile is a soft radius rather than a hard corner, so a row of booths reads as a sequence of rounded forms. Inside, seat and back are channel-stitched.
Range shown. A woven stripe in brown and cream on seat and back with a sage outer leather; cognac leather seats with cream backs; and olive or sage leather with cream backs. The background of the room views also shows curved U-booths in the same family, which we draw to radius on request.
Construction. Hardwood frame with cane panels inset in rebates, ply seat box, HR foam with channel stitching set out on the drawing; outer leather or vinyl on the arm caps and top roll to protect the cane edges. Stone-top tables on walnut pedestals or twin-slab bases complete the set.
Specifying it. Channel width should be set so channels align between seat and back; striped fabrics need the stripe direction stated. Cane is a natural material and varies in tone; we supply a strike-off panel for approval.
Where it works. Garden and greenhouse restaurants, resort dining rooms and all-day cafés.
