The SB-178 borrows its outline from a cabinet: a framed, paneled front below the seat, short tapered legs at each corner and a rounded walnut frame around the back. Along the top of the back runs a band of cane webbing, and below it the seat and back are upholstered in a single patterned fabric, so the pattern becomes the main surface of the booth.
Range shown. A tropical leaf print in greens and ochre, a multicolor woven stripe, a cream ground with green wave stripes, and a red-and-black botanical. The booth appears in back-to-back rows and as a single against a window, with dark walnut tables on black pedestals.
Construction. Solid hardwood frame with panel-and-rail front, cane crest inset in the back frame, ply seat deck with HR foam; seat and back upholstered over separate panels for re-covering.
Specifying it. Patterned COM must be planned for match across seat and back and between neighboring booths; we show the repeat placement on the cut plan and state yardage with the repeat included.
Where it works. Resort and garden restaurants, Southeast Asian and fusion dining rooms, tea rooms with timber and stone interiors.
