Not every booth is for a restaurant. The SB-180 brings booth construction into workplaces, campuses and transit lounges, where people eat, wait and work in the same seat. Two forms are shown. In a university café, two charcoal fabric booths with vertical-channel high backs face each other across a dining table, carried on slim black steel frames that leave the floor open for cleaning. In an airport lounge, two pods with tall side wings and an oak-veneer outer shell face across a small work table, giving each pair acoustic and visual shelter.
Construction. Welded steel frame with powder coat, ply and hardwood upholstered body, HR foam; pod shells in oak veneer on ply with edge lipping. A small module on the inner wing in the pod version marks where a power or USB unit can be fitted, specified to the destination electrical code and installed by a licensed electrician.
Specifying it. Back height drives privacy: 47-54 in (120-137 cm) hides a seated head. Check sightlines and sprinkler coverage for enclosed pods with the fire engineer.
Where it works. Campus and workplace cafés, airport lounges, hotel lobbies and co-working spaces.
