This is the workhorse of the library: a fixed wall banquette in contract vinyl, specified by run length and corner type and finished with one of three back faces. The photographs show the range. Terracotta and burgundy runs carry vertical channels; a cream L-shaped corner and a long black run use a plain back; a bottle-green pub banquette has deep buttoning; and a cream run in a daylit room combines vertical channels with an accessible table alongside.
Construction. Hardwood and ply frame built in sections, HR foam with a fiber wrap, vinyl or COM pulled over the seat front so the edge has no exposed seam; recessed dark plinth to keep shoes off the upholstery. Sections join with bolts and alignment dowels and fix to the wall with a cleat.
Specifying it. For L corners, state inside or outside corner and whether the corner seat is mitered or squared; we draw both legs on one sheet. Channel width is set so a whole number of channels fits each section. Coated fabrics should be checked for cold-crack and abrasion ratings suited to the venue.
Where it works. Pizzerias, pubs, quick-service and fast-casual restaurants, cafés and hotel breakfast rooms.
