The SP-112 lets the wall above or beside a low banquette carry the same material language as the seating. Panels are built on rigid backers, upholstered in channel, diamond-quilt or horizontal-roll faces, framed with a wood cap and base rail, and hung on concealed French cleats so they can be removed for cleaning or re-covering.
Construction. Engineered backer board with foam and upholstery wrapped and stapled to the rear; perimeter welt in a contrast or matching color; solid wood cap and base rail stained to the base finish of the banquette. Coat hooks are through-bolted to the backer.
Specifying it. Give us the wall elevation with outlets, switches and thermostats; we cut and frame openings on the drawing. Panel joints are planned on channel or seam lines. Where wall panels count as interior finish rather than furniture, your local code may treat them under interior finish flammability rules (for example, ASTM E84 classification in the US) - check with the code consultant, and we will specify materials and supply available reports accordingly.
Where it works. Above low and floating banquettes, behind bar back-to-back seating, and along coat walls in restaurants and clubs.
