The SB-164 is the short module of our wall-hung banquette family, used where a full-length bench will not fit: between doors, beside a column or as the end piece of a run. The profile view shows the build clearly: a two-layer seat (cushion over an upholstered base, each with a contrast welt), a separate rounded back cushion, and a deep brushed-metal cap above the back.
Nothing touches the floor. The module hangs from a concealed steel rail fixed to the wall, so floors can be mopped straight through and the shadow underneath becomes part of the look.
Construction. Rigid hardwood and ply box with internal steel brackets engaging the wall rail; HR foam seat and back; welt in a contrasting color.
Specifying it. Wall-hung seating needs a structural wall: solid masonry or a stud wall with designed backing. We supply rail dimensions, fixing centers and design loads on the shop drawing for your structural engineer or contractor to confirm; we do not certify the wall. Module width can be anything from a single seat to about 4 ft; longer pieces are covered by the SB-165. Optional LED strip beneath. Foams to CAL TB 117-2013 or BS 5852 on request.
