The SC-222 is a compact, fully upholstered tub: a cylindrical base, a seat cushion with piped edge and a back that wraps round in one continuous curve, lower at the front. A small loose lumbar cushion completes it. The sample shows a large polka-dot print in brown, black and cream, which emphasizes the chair's round form from every side.
Construction. Hardwood and ply internal frame with shaped formers, HR foam with fiber wrap; seat cushion loose with zipped cover. A concealed swivel plate can be fitted inside the base, with or without return, or the chair can be supplied on a fixed base.
Specifying it. The upholstered base runs close to the floor, so specify a performance fabric where mops and shoes will touch it, or ask for a recessed plinth. COM requirement for a tub this size is around 5 yd of plain 54 in; a large geometric print like the sample needs pattern matching around the drum and more yardage, so send the repeat with the COM. Specify swivel, swivel-return or fixed on the schedule.
Where it works. Lounge corners of restaurants, hotel lobbies, bar lounges and private dining reception areas. Fabric and foam specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 or BS 5852 on request.
