The SC-218 has a simple, rectilinear frame with one distinctive detail: each arm is a flat band that loops forward from the back post and returns down to the seat rail, leaving an open frame rather than a solid arm. Back and seat are upholstered panels set inside the frame; the back is square and slightly raked.
The sample is upholstered in a dense multicolor floral print, which the plain frame balances well. In a solid fabric the chair becomes a quiet, almost architectural piece.
Construction. Square-section frame in a dark wood finish; the sample's frame can be produced in solid hardwood or, for heavy-traffic and outdoor-adjacent rooms, in wood-grain finished aluminum (confirm on drawing). Seat on HR foam over a ply deck; back panel upholstered and fixed from behind.
Specifying it. Arm height is set to clear your table apron so the chair slides fully under; send us the table height and apron depth. COM requirement is roughly 1.5 yd of plain 54 in fabric; for a large repeat like the one shown, allow more and state whether motifs should be centered on seat and back. Frame finish to sample. Fabric and foam specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 or BS 5852 on request.
