The SC-219 is a lean, rectilinear armchair for rooms that want a hint of mid-century without timber legs. The frame is black square-section metal: straight legs, a box stretcher close to the floor and arm rails that run forward from the back posts. Seat and back are separate upholstered cushions in a gray houndstooth weave; behind the back cushion and in the sides, panels of natural cane add texture when the chair is seen from the aisle.
Construction. Welded steel frame with powder-coated finish; upholstered seat on a ply deck with HR foam; back cushion fixed to a ply panel; cane webbing set into a sub-frame. Glides are fitted to suit your floor.
Specifying it. Metal frames are a practical choice for high-turnover rooms: joints do not loosen the way glued timber can, and the powder coat can be matched to other metalwork in the scheme. Give us the RAL or sample for the frame color. COM requirement is about 1.5 yd of plain 54 in fabric; small-scale patterns like houndstooth need little extra. Glide type (felt, nylon, PTFE) is scheduled against the floor finish. Foams specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 or BS 5852 on request.
