The ST-308 is built around a single arch. A long sintered-stone top in a pale, finely striated travertine look is edged in a fine bronze band; underneath, a single stone-look base rises in two broad legs joined by a semicircular arch, with the same striation on its surface so that top and base read as one carved piece.
Reading the schedule. Top: travertine-look sintered stone, pale grey. Edge: fine matte antique bronze. Base: one-piece arch, stone-look finish matching the top. The top and base can also be separated into two lines (for example, a darker base under a pale top) if the plan needs contrast.
Construction. Slab bonded to a sub-frame fixed into the base; the base is a hollow built form with a stone-look skin and levelling glides. The arch opening leaves the centre clear so that diners at the ends have knee room, though the broad legs are best checked against seat width on the drawing.
Where it works. Long two-to-four seat positions along banquettes, hotel breakfast rooms, Mediterranean and Italian restaurants, gallery cafés and restaurants with a masonry palette.
Pairing. It suits arched openings and plaster walls, and sits well beside boucle and linen upholstery in neutral tones.
Size. 47¼ in (120 cm) long; longer lengths can be drawn on request.
