The SP-170 is a sample, not a production item: a full-depth, one-seat section of a banquette, built with the same frame, foam, welt and plinth as the specified piece, and fitted with a metal carry handle on top so it can be taken into a client meeting or a mock-up room.
The module shown is in bouclé with a contrast welt, a brushed-metal band at the top of the plinth and a dark timber base. A ring on the side carries fabric and leather swatch tags, and a blank metal plate on the end panel can be engraved with the project and item number.
Why use it. Seat comfort, foam firmness and seat depth are hard to judge from a drawing or a swatch. A module lets the owner and operator sit on the actual build-up before a production run is released, and lets the design team check welt color and plinth finish under the project's own lighting.
Specifying it. Order the SP-170 against a specific banquette on your schedule; it is built to that item's approved shop drawing at the start of the sample stage. Fabric is the project COM/COL or a contract stock material. Sample modules are quoted per project; shipping by courier or with the main order.
